  1. What is bitcoin and when it began.
  2. Satoshi Nakamoto – pseudonym  for whoever invented bitcoin which is a peer to peer system that is completely decentralized and established in 2009.
  3. It was worth a $1 per bitcoin in 2011 and now $40,000 per bitcoin on the day of the interview in June but the amount per bitcoin is very volatile.
  4. You can own an entire bitcoin or a portion of the coin.  
  5. There will only ever be 21,000,000 bitcoins. It is a finite money supply. They created digital scarcity.
  6. The platform isn’t currently insured.
  7. Coinbase is one of the popular sites you can use to purchase bitcoin.
  8. It uses blockchain to update the ledger and it is synchronized around the world. 
  9. El Salvadore is the first country to use it as legal tender.  You can send money from your wallet to another person.
  10. The last bitcoin will be mined in  2140.
